A list of common winning hands starts with jacks or better, moving on to 2 pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It goes without saying that the payout schedule can change from game to game, so that knowledgeable gamblers are agile enough to select the most beneficial machine each instance.

As soon as the first round has completed, the player can either choose to stay on and try to to maximize their earnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any cash that has been won. Additionally, several styles of the game allow the player a chance to double their winnings, in which case another round is played. There are also variations among individual machines, with some virtual decks including wild cards and other differing characteristics to increase playability.
