Electronic Poker is a popular game that is able to be bet on in casinos around the world, or in your house on your personal computer, using a net connection. The game rules are very straightforward and involve the player trying to get the highest combination of cards as you can in order to win money. On this account it is much the same as a regular game of poker, apart from the interaction with other players. Of course, tactics used in a real-life game of poker, like tricking, will be useless here.

The game of Video Poker starts when the player puts credits (whether it is tokens, tickets or money) into the machine and presses the play button. A 5 card hand will then be electronically ‘given out’ on the video screen.

The Electronic Poker game also has buttons with ‘hold’ printed on them, and gamblers should now decide which cards to hold and which to throw away. For the cards the gambler wishes to keep, the ‘hold’ buttons should be pressed so that they light up. The player can choose to keep any amount of cards they want, whether it’s all or none.

After the player has decided on which cards he or she would like to retain, they should press ‘draw’, which will mean that any fresh cards are needed they will be dealt. The round is now finished, with the Video Poker machine analyzing the cards to see if it matches any of the winning hands printed on the pay out schedule.

Generally, the lowest winning hand on a Video Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money getting larger for each and every better hand. A common list of winning hands begins with jacks or better, moving on to 2 pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It is obvious that the payout schedule can change from game to game, so that skillful gamblers are able to select the most beneficial game every instance.

After the first round has played out, the player can either decide to stay on and try to to maximize their earnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any money that they may have won. Further, several versions of the game give the gambler an opportunity to double their profits, in which instance a further round is played. There are also differences among specific games, with some virtual decks including wild cards and other varying elements to increase playability.
